"New Pretty Town" (#2)

Find and quote one OXYMORON from the chapter or one example of IRONY. 
An example of an oxymoron is on p. 13.  "Tally felt uglier every second she spent there."  Tally has arrived in New PRETTY Town and she feels uglier than ever.  This is contradictory in nature to the meaning of the town.


Why do you think Tally chose to wear a maks to the party that was deemed "white tie?"
Tally feels so ashamed of being "ugly" that she feels the need to hide her face.  She is hiding behind, ironically, a pig; an animal normally deemed as ugly.  I'm guessing she forgot she was dressed in black pants covered in mud at this WHITE TIE EVENT???
