Two fights were presented in this chapter. Compare and contrast both of them; list their similarities and differences. Why did each fight take place? What was the outcome of each?
In the first fight, Tally and Shay portrayed an arguement in order to trick the new uglies. They were just having a good time. One put on a mask and a wig and one jumped off three stories to scare someone.
The second fight actually took place; no tricks involved. HOWEVER, someone is still scared by this fight too. Shay is scared to grow up, to turn pretty. Tally and Shay argue over whether people should be made to be pretty. Shay has decided she doesn't want to and is going to run away. Tally will stay and await her operation.
